Well -

mom's back in the hospital. . . not a good thing for my budget , health or mental state.

I can foresee some family problems in the future, after a conversation with my sister, over the phone. She and I certainly don't agree on much.

I had intended to do some Christmas shopping after seeing mom at the hospital - but Marty forgot to have my gas cap fixed earlier this week. . . so, it takes 2 people to open it. I had to come home, so he could meet me at the gas station - otherwise I'd not be able to drive to work, the next few days. *sigh*

November 1st -

New month, new car, lots of $$$$.

So - back on the frugal band wagon in earnest this month. In actuality, we did really well in Oct. as far as not spending unnecessary money. But the car repairs, and buying another car, really hurt.

I'm going to try to post here more often about my frugal journey.

Monday -

2 more day until weigh in. . . my clothes already feel looser. . . even though today was an up day, I still feel thinner this evening.

Hopefully the scales will show something for all the hard work this week.

Weight loss

So some of the people at work haven't ante'd up for the contest. . . but I'm going strong.

Have to do this frugally too -- so we're using up some of the items in our freezer, eating seasonally - just being careful with the calories and fat grams.

Going to be g-ma again

This time it's Jake and Sarah that are expecting. My mom is predicting a boy for them. She's never been wrong, as far as I can remember.

Marty came through surgery just fine.

Now to keep him down, while he recovers.
