Food Stamp Challenge - Day 3 Part 2 :)

So here's what we did for supper tonight. . . Tuna patties and fried cabbage. Both tasty, quick, easy, and frugal. Tuna patties are simply drained canned tuna, an egg, bread or cracker crumbs and seasoning (we like Old Bay or chili powder).
.79 per can of tuna x2 , one egg .04, one slice bread for crumbs .04 $1.66 for the tuna patties. Fried cabbage is one of Marty's favorite dishes and it's super fast, easy and frugal. I simply hand chop the cabbage, drizzle with EVOO, season with salt, pepper and onion powder, then fry in skillet until crisp/tender and translucent.
Cabbage was .49/head and we used about 1/2 of the head (it was small) .25 plus a few cents for the oil/seasoning .05 =.30 for the dish $1.96 for the plates of food (total), I had tea .05 and Marty had a soda .21 = $2.52 for the meal for both of us.
